A collective, a team and a spirit

Our group of winegrowers has always been close-knit and entrepreneurial. A close-knit team works alongside us. We share the same values.

A successful bet

Who would have imagined that by choosing to remain small and resolutely authentic, Clairmont would make a lasting mark on the Crozes-Hermitage winegrowing landscape?

What is the secret of this quiet strength that has enabled it to take the necessary steps to join the leaders of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation?

The answer lies in Clairmont's founding values: family spirit, passion for wine, know-how, a strong identity and solidarity.

A long-term vision

In 1972, when three winegrowing families decided to join forces instead of going their separate ways, they created Clairmont, a cooperative winery with a shared vision and a spirit of cooperation.

From the outset, Clairmont has focused on solidarity and teamwork, and now has 9 member families and 9 employees.

Rather than multiplying the number of appellations, Clairmont has chosen to specialise in Crozes-Hermitage, with 120 hectares in production, to guarantee controlled, high-quality production.

Instead of quantity, Clairmont has always favoured excellence, producing parcel and micro-parcel cuvées, as well as estate cuvées, all representative of the unique terroir of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation.
